Opening Master Chess Databases are offered in different formats. Most widely used is Chess Base .cbv format followed by open source pgn or files specifically used by MAC users (.cbf) or Chess Assistant Users (.rar). All chess users can decide which format is best for them and download it. The databases are offered on "as-is" basis.
