Most widely used is Chess Base .cbv format followed by open source pgn or files specifically used by MAC users (.cbf) or Chess Assistant Users (.rar). All chess users can decide which format is best for them and download it. The databases are offered on "as-is" basis. Once purchase is complete, you will receive a link by email with the full content which you can download. The cloud services are provided by quality vendor SugarSync.
