Sparkassen Dortmund [14]

Ruslan Ponomariov is the winner of the Sparkassen Chess Meeting 2010th. Second Le Quang Liem reached draw in the last round against the Ukrainian. After 10 grueling rounds, he ended up 6.5 points on the account, one more than second-placed Le Quang Liem. "Pono" started with two wins in the tournament and gave the lead up to the end not from. "I can not remember when I won the last time such a strong tournament. I am very happy. Tonight I'm going with my colleague Zahar Efimenko to celebrate ", said the 26-year-old after the game. One felt that the pressure that had built up over the whole tournament, was dropped.
